Taylor Swift, perhaps catching wind of the excitement generated by Coldplay, swiftly followed suit. Shortly after the British band announced their sixth concert date at the National Stadium, the American singer-songwriter revealed her plans to perform in Singapore in 2024 for three nights on March 2, 3, and 4 as part of her ‘The Eras Tour.’ If you missed out on tickets then, don’t worry, because just like Coldplay, she has also added an extra three dates in Singapore on March 7, 8, and 9, 2024.
This is fantastic news for Swifties here, marking her concert in Singapore as one of only two stops in Asia, the other being Tokyo. It’s been a while since her last visit; her previous stopover in the Lion City was in 2015 as part of her 1989 World Tour.
Additional tour destinations include Melbourne and Sydney in Australia, as well as London, Milan, and Amsterdam in Europe.
The multi-award-winning singer-songwriter has had an incredible tour around the US so far, braving performances despite heavy rain on a few occasions. Reportedly, during a rainy Saturday in Massachusetts, the singer’s keyboard even started playing notes on its own after being damaged. The Eras Tour is designed to recap all ten of Swift’s studio albums, presenting each as an era with its own sets, costumes, and energy, so fans can expect a mix of new songs and old favorites.
Seating plans haven’t been announced yet, but if the recent Coldplay concert in Singapore is any indication, securing tickets is likely to be a challenging task. Here’s a guide on how you can secure yours (may the odds be ever in your favor).
In Asia, Taylor Swift will head to Tokyo, Japan from February 7 – 10, 2024, before stopping in Singapore, where she will undoubtedly perform in a very packed stadium in March, with special guest Sabrina Carpenter.
