In her Eras era, Taylor Swift kicked off the highly anticipated Eras Tour in Glendale, AZ, on March 17, showcasing a stunning array of outfits for her extensive three-hour set.
With an extensive catalog and a set list of 44 songs, Swift collaborated with designers such as Versace, Elie Saab, Roberto Cavalli, Zuhair Murad, Alberta Ferretti, Oscar de la Renta, and Christian Louboutin for custom boots to create looks that complement her storytelling on stage.
Vogue reports that Swift’s costumes aimed to modernize some of her iconic fashion moments. For instance, stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer teamed up with Roberto Cavalli designer Fausto Puglisi to design a minidress adorned with sparkly gold fringe, inspired by Swift’s second album, “Fearless.” Another creation was a catsuit with embroidered snakes, reflecting her “Reputation” era, described by Puglisi as a “badass, rock and roll look.”
Swift debuted various outfits, including a glittery two-piece set reminiscent of her 2014 MTV Video Music Awards outfit, a sequin ballgown paying tribute to “Speak Now,” an iridescent bodysuit encrusted with crystals representing her “Lover” era, and an Elie Saab Haute Couture tulle ballgown with a draмatic skirt embroidered with gardenia-colored organza petals, first worn in Tampa. Each ensemble captivates the massive audience, surpassing 69,000 people.
While Swift dazzles with her bejeweled appearance, the focus reмains on the music. Fausto Puglisi emphasizes creating couture that complements the music, especially for a concert in a stadium with a vast audience. Explore some of Taylor Swift’s standout looks from her Eras Tour (so far)
