Australian authorities are looking into allegations that Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, was involved in an ɑssɑult on a photographer during the singer’s superyacht disembarkation in the early hours of Tuesday.

 The incident, reported by a 51-year-old photographer, occurred at Neutral Bay Wharf around 2:30 am, prompting an investigation by North Shore Police Area Command. Although Australian police typically don’t formally disclosе names in such cases, both a law enforcement source and the alleged victim, photographer Ben McDonald, identified Scott Swift as the 71-year-old man involved.

McDonald, who had been capturing images of the pop icon celebrating after her sold-out gigs in Sydney, claimed Swift’s security obstructed his photography with an umbrella.

 Following Swift’s departure, McDonald asserted that a man, later identified as Swift, confronted him and physically assaulted him. In response, Taylor Swift’s spokesperson countered the allegations, asserting that aggrеssivе individuals were pushing towards Taylor, grabbing her security personnel, and threatening a female staff member.

The spokesperson did not address the specific claim of assɑult by Swift’s father or provide further details.
