Beyoncé and Blue Ivy have made a grand entrance at the Grammy Awards, captivating everyone with their impeccable style. Despite skipping the red carpet and not being spotted with JAY-Z earlier in the ceremony, Queen Bey has finally arrived, accompanied by her daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
For the occasion, Beyoncé dazzled in a custom velvet gown designed by Nicolas Jebran. The gown featured two ultra-high leg slits and shoulder cut-outs, creating a striking look. What truly elevated the ensemble were the accessories she chose to complement the outfit. A dramatic wide-brim hat, thin cat-eye sunglasses, platform sandals, and massive jeweled earrings that gracefully dangled down to her shoulders completed the ensemble.
This appearance followed Beyoncé’s stunning fashion choices at other Grammy events over the weekend, showcasing a sultry pleated gown by Ralph & Russo and an avant-garde custom Azzi & Osta dress paired with a leather beret.
In contrast to her parents’ all-black ensembles, six-year-old Blue Ivy opted for an all-white look. She styled her hair in a bun and wore a pleated coat-dress over snowy trousers. Matching her mom’s flair for accessories, Blue Ivy carried a shimmery black clutch and adorned crystal-covered Mary Jane shoes.
While Beyoncé’s last album, Lemonade, secured two Grammys last year, this year she was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance for “Family Feud,” her collaboration with JAY-Z. Unfortunately, they didn’t clinch the award, as Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna’s collaboration “Loyalty” took the honor. Nevertheless, with JAY-Z being the most-nominated artist at this year’s Grammys, there are still ample opportunities for the Carters to achieve victory. Beyoncé held the same title last year.
