Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce took their sizzling romance to the Oscars afterparties on Sunday. The couple, who opted out of the Academy Awards ceremony, made a splash at Madonna’s exclusive gathering in the Hollywood Hills, as reported by British Vogue.
Madonna’s 16th annual soirée, known as ‘The Party,’ took place at the residence of Madonna’s talent manager, Guy Oseary, and was sponsored by Gucci. Taylor and Travis headlined the star-studded event, joined by celebrities like Salma Hayek, Lily Gladstone, Jennifer Lawrence, Colman Domingo, Chris Rock, and Matthew McConaughey.
Their appearance followed Travis’s recent visit to Singapore last week, where he attended Taylor’s Eras Tour. Upon Taylor’s arrival in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, speculations arose about her potential attendance at one of the night’s numerous afterparties. The singer’s close circle, including the Haim sisters, Sabrina Carpenter, and Keleigh Teller, was also in town for the Academy Awards, fueling rumors of her impending appearance.
Before their meetup in Singapore, Travis and Taylor’s last encounter was in Australia. Travis traveled to Sydney, and they explored a zoo together amid her performances Down Under. The media frenzy surrounding the couple in Australia surprised Travis, who remarked about helicopters flying around during their zoo visit on the New Heights podcast.
The couple’s plans post-Taylor’s Eras shows in Singapore remain uncertain. News has surfaced that Swift has already penned love songs inspired by Kelce, with at least two songs reflecting their love story.
While Taylor has no immediate plans to release these special songs, an insider shared that her relationship with Travis has been a significant inspiration for her, considering songs like poetry. The couple, both 34, started dating secretly last summer before making their public debut at one of Travis’s Kansas City Chiefs games last September.
Since then, Taylor has actively supported him at various games, and Travis has traveled to South America and Australia to cheer her on during her ‘Eras’ world tour. Chiefs defensive coach Dave Merritt spoke positively about Taylor’s impact on Travis, noting that her presence had a positive effect on both Travis and the team.
On ‘The Sports Shop With Reese and K-Mac’ podcast, Merritt mentioned, ‘She actually affected the team in a positive way. Everybody was excited, and Travis was happy. So when my player, a brother, is happy beside me, that helps me and that encourages me, and so Travis came in there a different man. So, she helped us.'”
Former linebacker Dave also likened Taylor to a ‘little sister’ to the team. Taylor revealed to Time magazine that she and Travis began dating shortly after she learned he had attempted to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it in the summer of 2023. Despite public attention, the couple initially kept their relationship private, grateful for the time they had to get to know each other.
