Lil Wayne emphasizes the value of spending quality time with loved ones, especially during holidays.
On Thursday (November 23), the Young Money leader and his four children gathered for a rare family photo, which his eldest daughter, Reginae Carter, uploaded on social media.
Wayne can be seen in the photo wearing a bright yellow sweatsuit while snuggling with his four children: Reginae, 24, Dwayne, 15, Kameron, 14, and Neal, 13.
The rapper shares them with his ex-wife Toya Johnson, radio host Sarah Vivian, actress Lauren London, and singer Nivea.
“Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours,” Reginae said in the caption.
Fans appeared to ignore the festive greeting and instead commented on how much Lil Wayne’s offspring resemble him.
“You mean to tell me that nobody’s genes fought back? “[crying emoji],” wrote one fan. “Them two boys to the left his twin [love emoji],” another user said.
A third individual said, “They all look like Wayne, but from a different era in his life. Omg.”
Although the “A Milli” MC rarely discusses his personal life, the 41-year-old has admitted that nothing beats parenting.
In 2012, he stated on X (previously Twitter) that becoming a father is the best thing he has ever done, notwithstanding other accomplishments.
In the same year, he told MTV News, “There’s nothing better than being a father, period.” I’ve done many things.I never get as much delight as I do as a father. Simple things, like assisting my daughter with her homework. Simple things include getting my sons to sleep.”
Lil Wayne has released Welcome 2 ColleGrove, his second collaboration album with 2 Chainz. The project, which dropped last week, has cameos from 21 Savage, Rick Ross, Benny The Butcher, Usher, Fabolous, and others.
DX writer Alec Seigel gave the album a 3.9 out of 5 stars, praising its “expensive” production, “blockbuster” sequencing, and “natural chemistry” between Tunechi and Tity Boi.
