In order to ‘re-educate’ 50 Cent’s employee for shoving him to the floor, Lil Wayne interrupted their performance together

After an incident involving a staff member shoved him backstage, Lil Wayne decided to cancel his show with 50 Cent.

Los Angeles on Wednesday was a merely adequate performance by 50 Cent. Not only did the rapper allegedly miss a spectacular guest performance, but he reportedly hurled a microphone at a concertgoer. Lil Wayne and 50’s scheduled performance at the Crypto.com Arena was unexpectedly canceled by the “Lollipop” singer due to a conflict with 50’s management, according to Page Six. One member of the tour crew reportedly seemed to “push” Wayne away from the stage as he was about to go onstage, according to sources close to the situation who spoke with Page Six.

Wayne was reportedly upset with the exchange and left without giving a performance, according to Page Six. An informant reportedly told Page Six that “he just stormed out.” “He entered the building for a total of roughly twenty minutes.”

Neither 50 Cent nor Lil Wayne’s agents immediately responded to a request for comment.

Fifty was joined onstage by famous faces like Chris Brown, YG, and Nas, even if Lil Wayne wasn’t there. The show was still in the news because of an incident involving the microphone. Fifty people were shown in videos that got popular on social media tossing what appeared to be a broken microphone onto a crowd by the stage’s side.
