For her first look, she donned a piece from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2023 collection. The gold long-sleeved silk dress, intricately embroidered with Swarovski crystals, exuded glamour. Paired with a metal moulded corset belt featuring lock and key details, the ensemble evoked a sense of déjà vu.

This striking attire drew inspiration from two sources. Firstly, it paid homage to Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2007 collection. Secondly, it was a nod to Beyoncé’s own fashion history, as she had previously worn a similar look from the same collection 16 years ago at the 2007 BET Awards. Completing the ensemble were Lorraine Schwartz earrings, a Gismondi 1754 yellow diamond ring, and her signature rectangular sunglasses, complemented by strategically placed gold tape.
