Khloé Kardashian attended the gala to support her sister, Kim, who was receiving the Fashion Icon Award.

“I am extremely thrilled to get this award from the fashion legend herself. Kim expressed gratitude to Tracee Ellis Ross, who received the award in 2020 and delivered it again in 2021.

According to Vanity Fair, Kim expressed gratitude for the willingness of designers to collaborate with her. They weren’t always together. Thank you to Zac Posen for dressing me and taking me to my first CFDA Awards, as well as to so many brilliant designers like Riccardo Tisci and Olivier Rousteing for believing in me. Well, [they] probably [were] talked into it after receiving a call from Kanye [West].”
