Beyoncé and Jay-Z chose to forgo the glitz and glam of the Met Gala and MTV VMAs this year in favor of a lavish family vacation on the stunning beaches of mainland Europe. The power couple spared no expense, leasing the luxurious mega-yacht Flying Fox from none other than Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
With a weekly rental fee of approximately $4 million, the Flying Fox proved to be the epitome of opulence. Beyoncé took to Instagram to share glimpses of their getaway aboard the 417-foot-long vessel, which boasts a staggering construction cost of $500M.
Accommodating up to 25 passengers in lavish suites, the yacht also boasts an extensive crew of around 55 members, including chefs, doctors, diving instructors, and even hairdressers. Its impressive amenities include a helipad, gym, various water sports equipment, a submarine, and a luxurious heated pool.
Despite their extravagant vacation, it appears that Beyoncé and Jay-Z are not yet delving into the realm of nautical real estate. Instead, they enjoyed the lavish comforts of the Flying Fox, which is owned by the billionaire mogul Jeff Bezos. With an estimated fortune of $177 billion, Bezos remains the wealthiest individual globally, adding yet another layer of grandeur to the couple’s already extravagant getaway.
