There are many who believe DJ Khaled lied when he said he was there in New Orleans when Birdman and Lil Wayne met for the first time.

The We The Best mogul recently told Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay that he had collaborated with numerous famous bands as he knew them before they were famous.

He confirmed, “I was there when Birdman met Lil Wayne.” When I was a DJ at Odyssey Records in New Orleans, Lil Wayne would often stop by. As a result of my obsession, I convinced the owner of a record store to allow me DJ for the benefit of the patrons. A group of people, including Birdman, went to a record store and retrieved cassettes from the trunk. This happened before they even agreed to it.

Cassettes were for sale. I seem to remember it being a B.G. “Is this really selling that much?” was a common question asked by record companies when contacting adolescent tape labels.My response was yes.Just give him five seconds, and he’ll sell it.
