Beyoncé and Jay Z made a grand entrance at the 77th annual Golden Globes Awards, skipping the red carpet but arriving inside the Beverly Hilton just after the show began. While viewers at home missed out on seeing Beyoncé’s full couture look, the singer later took to Instagram to showcase her stunning gown in a series of photos.
The custom creation, courtesy of Schiaparelli and styled by Beyoncé’s longtime stylist Zerina Akers, featured voluminous statement sleeves that exuded elegance and sophistication. Schiaparelli’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry, shared the photos on his own account, paying tribute to the iconic singer as a “Queen. Mother. Living Legend.”
Completing the ensemble with Lorraine Schwartz earrings and opera-length sheer gloves, Beyoncé radiated glamour and grace alongside Jay Z, who opted for a Tom Ford tuxedo for the occasion.
Despite the low-key entrance, Beyoncé’s presence at the Golden Globes was notable as she was nominated for Best Original Song – Motion Picture for her track “Spirit” from The Lion King. Although she didn’t take home the award, her history with the Globes reflects her enduring impact on the industry, having received previous nominations for her acting and music contributions.
With her fashionably late arrival and impeccable style, Beyoncé once again proved why she reigns supreme as a fashion icon and cultural phenomenon.
