DJ Khaled Wants to Buy a $185M Private Boeing Airliner to ‘Feel Like Drake’

DJ Khaled is taking his aspirations to new heights—literally. The “We The Best” CEO has expressed a renewed interest in owning a private jet, with his eyes set on a Boeing this time around. The inspiration? None other than fellow artist Drake and his luxurious Boeing 767, famously known as Air Drake.

Drake’s Air Drake, a Boeing 767 private jet, has become a symbol of ultimate luxury and success, inspiring many in the music industry, including DJ Khaled, to dream big. Khaled’s desire to own a jet isn’t new. A few months ago, he flew to Los Angeles with Fat Joe to receive his Hollywood Walk of Fame star on a chartered Bombardier Global 7500. During that trip, Khaled shared a video expressing his wish to own a jet like the Global 7500, tagging the company and writing, “I’m get one these things one day inshallah.”

However, it seems DJ Khaled’s jet-setting ambitions have now shifted towards something even grander. Recently, he posted several videos on Instagram featuring his black Rolls-Royce Phantom parked next to a colossal Boeing 767. In the caption, Khaled wrote, “I’m just window shopping, I want feel like Drake!” He emphasized his desire to travel the world with his family and friends, stating that owning a jet is the way to do it.

In one of the videos, Khaled gives a full tour of the impressive aircraft, saying, “So we decided to get a Boeing.” He mentions his fondness for flying in his Global 7500 but acknowledges the unique appeal of the Boeing. The aircraft in question appears to be a Boeing 767-200(ER) owned by Miami attorney and billionaire John H. Ruiz.

This Boeing 767-200(ER) is a true display of opulence. It is one of the 121 units built and delivered, stretching 159 feet in length and boasting over 2,000 square feet of interior space. The jet has been transformed into a flying mansion with two staterooms, two lounges, a formal dining room, a private cinema, a DJ station, and four bathrooms. The refurbishment was handled by VIP Completions, a Florida-based aviation design company.

Although it’s unclear if this specific private jet, valued at approximately $38 million, is available for sale, DJ Khaled, with a net worth of $75 million, certainly has the financial capability to afford such a luxury.

As Khaled continues to dream big, his journey from window shopping to potentially owning one of the most exclusive private jets in the world showcases his relentless drive and aspiration to live life to the fullest, much like his friend and inspiration, Drake.
