Diddy has denied allegations that Fox’s music competition series, “The Four: Battle for Stardom,” is being canceled due to his reported $1 million per episode salary demands.
Speculation has emerged that Fox executives are reconsidering the show’s future because of Diddy’s high pay and the show’s declining ratings in its second season, which premiered in June 2018. According to an insider:
Diddy was allegedly asked to take a pay cut, but he refused. As a result, the show’s renewal is now uncertain, though no official cancellation has been announced. Discussions are also underway about possibly replacing some of the judges.
While Diddy remains a key figure on the show, his position is likely secure, though DJ Khaled and Meghan Trainor’s roles may be at risk.
