It’s being reported that Afrobeat star Davido declined Diddy’s party invitation twice and lost the Grammy Awards two times, even after arriving first at the ceremony.

This information comes from various tabloids and gossip sites in Nigeria and beyond, particularly in light of Diddy’s recent troubles.

In contrast, his colleagues who attended Diddy’s parties ended up winning Grammys and rising to global fame.

“I turned down P Diddy’s party invitation twice and lost the Grammy twice despite being the first to arrive at the venue. My colleagues visited him, won the Grammy, and became African giants,” said Davido.

Although he didn’t name them directly, it’s clear he was referring to Wizkid and Burna Boy, who have both won Grammys.

Wizkid, along with Beyoncé and Blue Ivy, won Best Music Video for “Brown Skin Girl” at the 63rd Grammy Awards in 2021, with suggestions that the win was influenced by his connection with Diddy.

Interestingly, Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z are also close friends of the disgraced hip-hop mogul Diddy and have attended his exclusive white parties.

However, there’s a rumor that Beyoncé is the true owner of the Grammy, not Wizkid, since he was merely featured on the project.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy has faced challenges in explaining how he earned his Grammy, especially since he was seen with Diddy at his Los Angeles home.

Diddy co-produced Burna’s Grammy-winning album, Twice As Tall, during the height of the Cоvid-19 pandemic. In a live Instagram session, Diddy indicated that Burna Boy was destined to win a Grammy.

Following Diddy’s recent arrest on sеxual аssault charges and the discovery of various baby oils and lubricants, some have speculated that Burna may have slept with Diddy in exchange for the prestigious award.

Leaked audio recordings allegedly featuring Diddy and Burna Boy in a cоmpromising situation have surfaced online.

Diddy is currently in custody as he awaits trial for sеx crimes and rackеteering.

There are also suspicions that the troubled hip-hop mogul may face serious consequences alongside other prominent individuals involved in his “Freak Offs.”
