Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer shed light on the rapper’s challenges with food while in jail following his arrest for sеx trafficking.
“I believe the food is likely the hardest part of his experience,” attorney Marc Agnifilo said to reporters outside a federal courthouse in Manhattan on Thursday, as reported by People.
Combs, currently held in Brooklyn’s infamous Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail, begins his mornings at 6 a.m. with a meal that includes cereal, fruit, and a breakfast pastry, according to the magazine.
Lunch is reportedly served at 11 a.m., featuring options like hamburgers, baked fish, or beef tacos, while weekends offer choices such as scrambled eggs and biscuits.
After the 4 p.m. headcount, inmates have dinner, which includes dishes like chicken fajitas, pasta, and roast beef, along with “heart-healthy” and vegetarian alternatives such as lentils, tofu, and baked beans.
According to The Post, Combs receives three meals a day delivered directly to his cell, and after his arraignment, he was served Swedish meatballs. He also had the option of a black bean burger, with sides like egg noodles, green beans, a garden salad with dressing, and a 16 oz. drink.
As for the rest of his time in federal jail, The Post reported that Combs is limited to one hour of recreation each day and is permitted three showers per week.
Thursday marked the Bad Boy Records founder’s first court appearance since his arrest, during which his trial date was set for May 5, 2025.
At the hearing, the 54-year-old Combs was accompanied by his mother, Janice Combs, 84, and six of his seven children: sons Quincy Brown, 33, Justin Combs, 30, and Christian “King” Combs, 26, daughter Chance Combs, 18, along with twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs, 17.
Diddy was taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigations at a New York City hotel last month.
He faces charges including rackеteering conspiracy, sеx trafficking through force, fraud, or coеrcion, and transporting individuals for prоstitution. The “I’ll Be Missing You” star entered a not guilty plea to all charges.
The music mogul’s downfall began in November 2023 when his former girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, filed a lawsuit accusing him of rapе, sеx trafficking, and physical abuse during their 10-year relationship.
He settled the lawsuit the day after it was filed, while denying any wrongdoing. However, in May, a video surfaced online showing him violently аssaulting Ventura, 38, at a hotel in 2016, prompting him to make a public apology.
Diddy, famous for hosting extravagant celebrity parties, is now facing a wave of abuse and rapе allegations following his arrest.
