Cassie Ventura, who had an on-and-off relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs for years, was seen with what looks like additional facial bruising in newly resurfaced photos from January 2013.
In the uncovered images, the “Me & U” singer and her former partner were accompanied by a group of people as they attended a party in Kingston, Jamaica.
Ventura stood at the front of the group photo, wearing black sunglasses that appeared to conceal a fading bruise over her brow and another near her eye. She also seemed to have a faint bruise on the side of her shaved head—a hairstyle Diddy allegedly encouraged her to adopt in 2009.
The photos were taken as Cassie Ventura and her then-boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs, attended a star-studded event in Jamaica.
Combs, dressed entirely in black with matching sunglasses, stayed close to Ventura throughout the night. In some shots, he was seen counting money that appeared to have just been given to him.
Representatives and legal teams for both Ventura and Combs have not yet responded to requests for comment.
These resurfaced images are among many that allegedly depict the singer, now 38, bruised and injured during her complicated, years-long relationship with Combs.
In November 2023, Cassie Ventura accused Sean “Diddy” Combs, 54, of rapе, sеx trafficking, and physical abusе.
She filed a lawsuit at the time, alleging that the Bad Boy Records founder had coеrced her into having sеx with male prostitᴜtes while he recorded the encounters, physically аssaulted her, and supplied her with drᴜgs.
The alleged abuse continued until their final breakup in 2018.
Although Combs denied the allegations and quickly settled the lawsuit within 24 hours, he was forced to issue an apology in May after disturbing surveillance footage surfaced, showing him violеntly аssaulting Cassie as she tried to flee their hotel room in 2016.
CNN, which obtained the footage, reported that the incident took place at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California.
The video captured Ventura, wearing a black hoodie, running toward the elevators. Combs, dressed only in a towel, chased after her, dragged her to the ground, and kicked her repeatedly.
He then pulled her back into the hotel room, leaving it unclear if or when she managed to escape.
After the video was released, Diddy addressed the situation on Instagram, stating, “My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions. I’m disgusted.”
He added that he was “disgusted back then” when it happened and remains “disgusted now.”
The music producer wrapped up his statement by revealing, “I sought professional help, began therapy and rehab, and asked God for mercy and grace.”
However, Ventura’s case triggered a wave of other alleged victims coming forward, filing dozens of new lawsuits in recent months accusing Combs of similar abuse.
