‘Life is Good’ Rapper Future acquires luxurious mansion in Miami beach

What a time to be alive for Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, also known as Future to his legion of admirers. Not only was the Atlanta-born hip-hop singer/songwriter lauded as the “Best Rapper Alive” in a GQ article earlier this year, but he also transferred the rights to over 600 titles in his publishing catalog to investment firm Influence Media Partners in September for a deal in the “high eight figures.” In addition, he will collaborate with Rihanna on the forthcoming “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack.

And the same holds true for Future’s real estate endeavors. According to The Real Deal, he recently paid French insurance CEO Laurent Ouazana and his wife Pascale $16.3 million for a residence on Miami Beach’s exclusive guard-gated Allison Island that overlooks the water. The Ouazanas purchased the property in 2020 for $12.5 million, which included an adjacent parcel that has since been sold to developers. Despite a substantial $3.6 million discount off the original listing price, the new price is still significantly higher than the original price.

The futuristic residences of Future were constructed in 2020 and are tucked away on a gated quarter-acre property. The seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom residence is surrounded by towering palm trees and features nearly 8,000 square feet of living space with high ceilings, walls of glass, and seamless indoor-outdoor environments. Elegant features include an elevator, a rooftop terrace, a guesthouse, staff accommodations, and a three-car garage.

Other features include a spacious great room with living and dining areas, as well as a kitchen with custom Ornare cabinetry, a lengthy eat-in island, and stainless steel appliances of the highest caliber. In addition, the luxurious master suite on the second floor features a sitting area with a wet bar and wine refrigerator, an expansive balcony, dual walk-in closets, and a luxurious bathroom with dual vanities, a massive glass-enclosed shower, and a freestanding soaking tub.

Outdoors, the resort-like grounds feature an infinity-edge pool and raised spa flanked by an open-air pavilion equipped with a kitchen, as well as an abundance of lounging and entertaining areas. In addition, with a port and 75 feet of water frontage, there is ample space to moor a luxury yacht.

Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman held the listing, while Jordan Karp of Jordan Karp LLC represented the client.
