As a housewarming gift, Diddy surprised Rick Ross with a luxurious golf cart after Ross’s reported $37 million purchase of a Miami Beach home. Ross shared the moment on Instagram Stories, showcasing his excitement over the present.

“This is your housewarming gift,” Diddy said playfully. “You’re not officially moving in yet, though—you just got approved by the community board. This is Star Island, an exclusive spot where privacy is everything.” Diddy added, “You can walk around Star Island, but trust me, it’s better to drive.”

According to TMZ, Ross purchased a six-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion on Miami Beach’s secluded Star Island. The 40,000-square-foot property, which Ross plans to renovate, already features amenities like a heated pool, a summer kitchen, an entertainment room, and spacious terraces. Notable neighbors in the area include Jennifer Lopez and Shaquille O’Neal.

However, Diddy jokingly warned Ross about bringing his wild Georgia estate parties to the quiet Star Island neighborhood. “I’m serious, Rozay,” Diddy teased. “No wild parties. No pool parties. I’m the head of the committee here—we don’t do any of that. You got me?”

Ross is known for hosting extravagant events, including a pool party at his Promise Land estate, which was unexpectedly interrupted by a parachuter. At another event, his annual auto show, a parachuter made an unplanned entrance. But what caught the most attention was Ross’s failed attempt at diving into the pool.

“I’ll be honest—am I OK? Definitely not,” Ross admitted humorously in a social media video, according to XXL. “I did a double bounce, and my knee gave out. Blew a tire. Bow!”
