Sometimes, having two properties is even better than one, especially with a substantial net worth. With an estimated $200 million fortune, Kevin Hart stands among the wealthiest comedians in the business. According to public records, he recently invested $7 million in a mansion next to another large property he already owns.
Hart’s main residence, built in 2018, is nestled in a small gated community on Calabasas’s semi-rural outskirts. This 9,500-square-foot Mediterranean-style home sits on 26 acres, with most of the land being steep hillside, limiting construction potential. The estate includes the primary residence, two guesthouses, a children’s playground, a spacious swimming pool, and a volleyball court.
Adjacent to this estate is a 16.3-acre property, mostly hillside, but it features a two-acre flat lot with a 9,300-square-foot mansion topped with a grey tiled roof. This property also has an infinity pool, a tennis court, sprawling lawns, and beautiful gardens. The mansion, built in 2004, was never formally listed for sale.
Records reveal that Hart bought the neighboring mansion from Shakim Compere, a film producer and longtime business partner of Queen Latifah. Compere and his wife, Tonya, purchased the estate for $6.7 million in 2015, so it’s unlikely they profited from the sale to Hart and his wife, Eniko Parrish.
Now, the renowned comedian and actor presides over a vast 42-acre compound that includes two swimming pools, two sports facilities, and close to 19,000 square feet of living space across multiple buildings, along with ample parking for numerous vehicles.
The additional home, discreetly positioned behind gates, offers six bedrooms and six bathrooms. Inside, it boasts spacious formal living and dining areas, large windows, and wide-plank oak floors, all under a beige stucco and stone exterior.
