Michael Jordan recently acquired the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster, known as “the world’s fastest and most powerful convertible,” for $3.5 million. Jordan, one of only 30 owners worldwide, showcased the special moment at Grove XXIII, his Florida golf club, in a photo with Hennessey Performance CEO John Hennessey.
The Venom F5 Roadster, unveiled a year ago, features a carbon-fiber body with yellow pinstriping. Only 24 Venom F5 coupes were made in late 2022, making the Roadster less rare. Due to expanded production, the Roadster is priced at $3 million, while the coupe costs $2.1 million. Jordan’s Nike licensing and Jordan Brand brought in $256 million and $5.9 billiоn, respectively, last year. He also co-owns 23XI NASCAR.
The Venom F5 has a mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 engine, delivering 1,817 horsepower and 1,193 pound-feet of torque. The roadster has a removable 18-pound carbon-fiber top panel, and its weight without a canopy is 3,100 pounds, slightly more than the coupe. The rear features tempered glass for a view of the engine.
